Our 3-Year Health Guarantee

At Stargazer Cavaliers, we stand behind every puppy we raise with a 3-year genetic health guarantee — that’s two years longer than the standard one-year guarantee offered by most breeders.

We don’t include this guarantee because we expect you’ll need it — we include it because we’re confident you won’t.

Our sires and dams are carefully DNA-tested and health-screened before breeding, giving every puppy the best possible start in life.

AKC Registration & Spay/Neuter Agreement

All Stargazer Cavaliers puppies are sold with Limited AKC Registration — meaning they are placed as loving family companions only.

We do not sell to breeders or anyone intending to breed. A spay/neuter contract will be signed at the time of purchase and must be completed by 6 months of age. Proof of the procedure is required before AKC registration paperwork is released.

Starting Off Right

Every Stargazer Cavalier puppy comes with Trupanion Pet Insurance, active from the moment your puppy leaves our care and enters yours.
This 30-day policy is free, but it must be activated within 24 hours of pickup to maintain your health guarantee.

Your puppy will go home healthy, clean, and fully vetted, with all age-appropriate vaccines and de-worming completed (2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks). You’ll receive a detailed Puppy Health Record and guidance for your first vet visit.

Veterinary Care & Guarantee Details

Your puppy is guaranteed to be:

Free from infectious disease for the first 5 days after leaving our care.
Free from genetic health defects for 3 years (5 years for MVD and DM).

To keep your guarantee valid:

Schedule a veterinary exam within 5 days of pickup.
Continue all recommended immunizations and parasite prevention.
Maintain minimum pet insurance coverage during the 3-year period.

If a licensed veterinarian identifies a verified genetic defect, a detailed report must be submitted to Stargazer Cavaliers within the covered period. We’ll offer a replacement puppy from the next available litter.

Microchipping for Life

Every puppy comes microchipped and pre-registered with a Fi Nano microchip — featuring free lifetime registration and international scan recognition.

If your puppy is ever lost, one quick scan ensures they find their way safely back home.

Forever Home Promise

We understand that life can change unexpectedly. If at any time you’re unable to care for your Cavalier — whether for emotional or financial reasons — your puppy always has a home with us.

We offer lifetime support and will help rehome your puppy if necessary. While refunds aren’t guaranteed, if we’re able to place your puppy quickly, we’ll try to refund up to 50% of the original purchase price (minus costs).

Our first priority will always be your puppy’s safety, health, and happiness.
